You know I remember having this discussion once and I was torn on which I'd prefer so I have always said I'd rather have both but if I have to choose I'd say the beach, because inasmuch as I love a mountain view and hiking, I love walking along the beach especially around summer and nothing beats the sound of the ocean at night when trying to sleep.

Why is there an "or" there? It's beach AND mountain. Need both, and both are fun workouts for cardio and strength. (That wet sand, doe..)

I have to go with beach...after all I do live in Florida where our only mountains are built by Disney and have roller coasters inside them.

While the mountains are beautiful, it's easily the beach for me. There's just something about the sounds and smells of the ocean that totally recharge my batteries in a way that just doesn't happen in the mountains.
