Easy preparation dinner from scratch. Made it on Thursday and it was delicious, my parents loved it and I was so proud, it's my new signature dish lol!
Ingredients:
5 boneless chicken breast or steaks (diced)
4 medium potatoes (diced)
50 grams vegetables of choice (I used peas, cauliflower and carrots)
As much thick, chicken flavor gravy as you desire (Bisto gravy is low calorie)
2 chicken stock cubes
Serves 4 people.
Basically all I did was:
1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
2. Make a paste out of the chicken stock cubes and a tbsp of boiled water, and poured it over/rubbed it into the diced breast.
3. assembled the ingredients together into a casserole dish
4. Pour the gravy over the ingredients
5. Cook for 45 minutes and serve immediately
Honestly, try it. It's hearty, healthy, low calorie and absolutely delicious! The gravy and stock makes it so rich and the vegetables work so well to create little bursts of sweetness.
