Mixing Whey Protein

I've heard of people mixing their protein powders into oatmeal to get their protein in. I have vanilla flavored whey protein. What other foods do you mix your whey protein into? Or how do you consume your whey protein?

I am going to try mixing it into oatmeal, but wondering if the vanilla flavor will not mesh well with flavored oatmeal such as apples and cinnamon, etc.

I'm not a big fan of mixing any flavored protein into anything else. Adding unflavored powder works great for mixing though.

And if your mixing flavored protein powder with flavored oatmeal, it will probably be very very sweet.

A few nights ago i mixed vanilla whey into a packet of bananas and cream oatmeal and it was sooooooo good. It was rather sweet like charlesmauch mentioned. I almost couldn't finish the packet and normally i would eat two of them.

Usually i put it in smoothies and it makes them really creamy. Todays banana and raspberry smoothie had a lot of flavor and i couldnt taste the protein powder at all.
