Osteitis Pubis and running don't mix

Oh how I wish I could run again. Or even walk more than a few steps. I ran and did zumba for most of my weight loss. Did several 5ks and 2 10ks. I have three medals for running. About a month ago I suddenly became a non runner with osteitis pubis. Only no impact activities, like the ellipitical and water workouts. Not fun. Walking around town even laid me flat. Flat on my back is the only way to be without pain if I am not taking any painrelievers.
I have 20 more pounds I would like to lose. I was originally at 195 Jan. 2013 and got down to close to 150 Nov. 2013. Now (12/2014) near 160.
Anyone have this issue? Anyone losing weight with this issue and how? Any suggestions or tips? Anyone that has had this found relief with accupressure and/or chiropractor?

I share your pain. When I first got this I had to stop running for about 6 weeks until it stopped hurting. I did see my chiropractor for it and she was able to help with the discomfort. I was able to go back to running, but still suffer from O.P. From time to time.
