Creating positive change

I've started this account a long while ago but never took it or changing my life style seriously.
I'm 23 and will be 24 next month. My joints hurt, I can run for all of 2 minutes before saying *kitten* it when in the past I could run an hour straight, and worst of all, all I do is eat delicious junk food.
So this is me trying to make that change towards the life I dream of. (being more active, having more energy, doing more awesome things).
I think I'm gonna need some help, but not sure what kind of help yet.

Take tim to read the stickies and figure out how it works.
Get the right mindset and commit.
Plam and prepare.
Then just take babysteps and realistic tragets.
Get to be consistent by being at a calorific defict.
Weight and log all your food.
Dont compare ypurself to other people and realise especially in exercise terms then start where you are and just improve a little bit each week.0 -
Thanks for your advice/reminders.0

Pre-logging your day is a tremendous help, with staying on track.0

Switching your sodas to water can be such a huge HUGE change. That alone can help you lose weight. Sodas are just empty calories that very high in sugar and you know sugar turns to fat. So I personally would start there. Feel free to add me if you think you'll be active!0

Don't try to make too many changes at once or you will overwhelm yourself. I started counting calories first, worked up to hitting macros, then worked on regular exercise. Focus on small steps in the right direction.0

I definitely gotta keep reminding my self about taking small steps. Starting with no more sodas! Thank you everyone!!!0

You don't need to give up anything, you need to make sure things fit into your caloric allowance.0
