Lost over 50 pounds in 4 months!

I'm 17, and I recently decided to totally change the way I eat. Obviously, the results have been nothing short of unbelievable. My confidence is at an all time high, and I feel great. I also go to the gym most days. I also enjoy playing basketball. My struggle now is to lose my remaining fat (which is still plentiful), and to not gain weight. Any advice on how to stay slim would be awesome!

Start lifting. Increase your muscle mass. Muscles require energy just sitting there (unlike fat). Just don't let the minor weight gains bother you.
You might want to investigate a method for measuring body composition rather than the indirect and inaccurate scale. Look into Bodpod, hydrostatic weighing or iDEXA scans.

May I ask what your SW/CW is, along with your new eating habits? For example, what does your grocery list look like?
Also, yes, strength training is an absolute must!0 -

Starting weight was 226, as of this morning I'm at 172. Nowadays I feel like I need to eat less, so on average I take in 1500 calories or less. Most of my food is fruits and vegetables: cucumbers and carrots are really the only veggies I eat. I will rarely eat takeout, and if I do I'm very careful. I have been strength training so hopefully that'll help.

We're the same height, and I'm at your "before" weight right now. Kicked my own tail into gear for the new year -- thank you so much for your inspiration!!0
