Chest Strap HRM

Okay, so I'm new to the heart rate monitor thing. I keep reading that chest straps are the only way to go, but I don't know that they'd work for me. I have really large breasts and I can't imagine how that would work. Are there any other large breasted women that have experienced them?

You put the strap UNDER your breasts, not across them.
I'm a very generous DD and have no issue with my chest strap.0 -
The strap goes under the boobs - like right under the bottom edge of your bra - so it really shouldn't matter how large the actual breasts themselves are.0

I am large busted too, and I wear a HRM during workouts. You actually place the strap under your boobs and it works just fine. I love the strap much better because it is continuous tracking rather than stopping to have your pulse read by your watch.0

Glad I read this. Just got a chest strap and tried it today for the first time. I'm guessing it should have been intuitive, but I'm small breasted and tried wearing it above the breasts. It actually wasn't uncomfortable but I wasn't getting accurate readings for bpm.

I have a generous E size chest, and I love my HRM & strap. Like peeps above has said, it goes under ur boobs, but as high up as u can get it. Mine sits directly under my sports bra.0

I am an H cup (yea they come that large) and it is really important that your breasts are fully supported, otherwise the strap/transmitter will move too much and you will lose the signal. I have to wear two bras, but ever since I did the strap now sits right under the sports bra/ just under the band.0
