Hello and best wishes to all of you who seek to maintain or improve your health.

For 10 years, I've maintained a healthy weight. However, I've recently gained 10#. I'd like to lose it permanently so my wardrobe and health isn't altered. If anyone out there has the secret for those of us who LOVE sugar (and think quality of life might be lowered without it), please help! It may not sound like much of a problem but what starts with 10+ # can turn into 20 or more.

Trust me...I understand this. Chocolate is my weakness. And when I did MFP before, I still had some chocolate now and then. But it's everything in moderation. I made myself work for it. If I stuck to my healthy eating for a week, I allowed myself a treat on my cheat meal. Yup, one cheat meal per week, including dessert. Dark chocolate is good for you also. Fruit is sweet and yummy too. Fruit was my dessert during the week. Keep moving and cut down as much as possible on the sweets. But it is ok to treat yourself now and then. Moderation is key. ;)
