I would like to join. Work has been so busy, and I've put on the weight I worked so hard to lose. Hopefully this will help motivate me to get to the gym, even when it's dark, cold, and rainy when I get off work. This is my first MFP challenge! Let's do it!

Hello... I am interested in being in joining this group and being accountable to others. I have put on 20+ pounds in the last year and was already 20+ pounds heavier than I like to be prior to that. I broke my back a year and half ago... and just had my second surgery in October. Unfortunately my doctor has restricted all exercise until April. I would like to try lose weight via eating healthy and counting calories, until I can begin to exercise again.

Sounds like a good starting place. I had lost over ten pounds, but gained 5 back. Need to get things turned around and get back to my good eating habits and daily walking. Let's go and get fit in '15!

I would like to join. I have severe back issues so I will go slow ,doctor says weight has got to go! TREAT After I lose 15 lbs. Hubby and I will take a weekend out of town! Yes! This is huge for us ,3 children at home and 2 grandbabies at our home as well.

Thank you for starting this challenge. It's a great way to have a goal for the next month. Please count me in! I just joined MFP on Christmas Day (I got a Fitbit for Christmas and was setting that up and found MFP!) and I love this site so far. I have a LOT of weight to lose and sometimes feel down about what a long road I have ahead of me. I'm hoping the weight comes off a bit quicker the first month. It would be really exciting to end this challenge being under 300 pounds so my goal will be a bit lofty, in order to get to 299.
