    For all time:
    • Veggie: tomato
    • Fruit: grapefruit

I do go in streaks as to what I buy and eat a lot of. Currently I am loving pomegranates and clementines for fruit and carrots and green beans for veggies.

Raw green beans and fresh peaches. Unfortunately, good (non mushy) fresh peaches are hard to get here.

Vegetable: Broccoli, definitely. I'm actually surprised so many others love it too. First runner up- brussel sprouts.

    Fruit: Mango, then pineapple

I love broccoli and carrots (mostly steamed).
I eat bananas every day - my new favorite thing to do to help curb my sweet pregnancy cravings is to freeze bananas, then put them in the food processor with a little almond milk - tastes just like ice cream!

Veggie - I recently discovered pea shoots. I'm sure I'm the last one to the party, but they are SO good. I've been adding them to everything. Couscous? Throw in some shoots after they're done cooking. Stir fry? Throw 'em in there, too. Salad? Needs some crunch - add shoots! LOL

Fruit - Mango. Which of course I can't get a decent fresh mango in the North in winter, but I've been enjoying it frozen still.

Tomato (especially when it's been turned into any kind of sauce)

... I suppose that counts as both since tomato is biologically a fruit but is termed as a vegetable in the world of cooking.

Agree with previously stated "lots." However, if I HAD to choose...

Vegetables - asparagus, probably. Followed closely by mushrooms (do those count?), spinach, and raw cabbage (but only if appropriately dressed). And late summer tomatoes. And I don't care if corn doesn't count as a vegetable, but in-season corn on the cob (I'm from Illinois, lol) might actually be #1.

Fruits - peaches, cherries, or certain varieties of apples - but, ONLY in season for all of them.

    Broccoli is so popular.

    For me, hmmm...
Vegetable: Can vegetable group include roots? If it does, taro is my favorite. If it doesn't, I guess I'll choose Napa cabbage, mustard greens and daikon radish because they all can be pickled to make my favorite kimchi, Vietnamese sour mustard greens soup and Japanese style pickled radish. :D
Fruit: Mangosteen or durian. Can't choose. Too bad they are so expensive here and I rarely get to eat them. :(
    Oh, I adore taro!

I've probably only had taro flavoring (?) in boba tea and mochi -- but yum!!
