Hi...I need help. This is the second part of my weight lose journey. I started in Oct. 09 and lost 30 lbs from WW and working out. However, mid August things got crazy and I stopped eating right and working out. I decide to try this site just last week and so far it's awesome with keeping me accountable with my eating habits. But, I really need help (and a good kick in the pants) to really start working out hard core again. Anyone out there that can help me with this? Any help would be appreciated!!!! Starleng

I found a local 5K to run in October.. I have never run in my life, but this has given me motivation having a goal!! I can now run 3 miles without walking after only 6 weeks of training!!

I strive to do 30 minutes of any exercise every day... it is not that long and it doesn't seem like you are beating the heck out of yourself.. like when I used to do 2 hours twice a week... Break it down :)

I would highly recommend doing something like Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. It's only 26 minutes (including warm up and cool down). It's a great workout in a short amount of time and a really easy way to get back into the swing of things. Doing the shred has made me even more motivated to work out...so now I'm doing both 30DS and going to the gym. It was just the kick I needed to start feeling better and regaining energy!

WOW. That is awesome! I'm trying to figure out how to train to run. I was doing good for a while, but then lost motivation. URGH. Keep it up! Starleng

Where did you get the DVD? Do you have to order it? I could do it in the morning and then go to the gym at lunch.

Thanks. Is it working for you? Have you seen movement? Sometimes I just feel like I'm spinning my wheels.

You can get the DVD from Amazon ($7.99 right now), Target, Jillian Michaels website. Sometimes Amazon or the Jillian Michaels website will have combo specials (like getting 3 DVD's for much cheaper than buying them all separately.) I actually have 3 of her DVD's and do two of them currently (30DS and Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism).

Yeah, I do the 30DS in the morning before work and then go to the gym after work for 30-40 minutes or so. The first week might be a little rough to do both...it will just depend on how sore you are from 30DS.

    Good luck!
