I have been doing the Walk Away the Pounds series, but am beginning to get in a slump with them, I haven't stopped doing them but am getting bored with it. Any suggestions on videos to add so I can switch it up and not get bored? Thanks in advance!

30 day shred with jillian michaels for jackie warner one on one fitness. Both are about 20-30 minutes and they are great for short hard workouts! they have modifications that you can do for beginner's!

10 Minute Trainer or Slim in 6 both by Beachbody. I absolutely loved them both!

I really enjoyed Turbo Jam when I first started out. There are several videos that will satisfy any intensity level in the program. Great for beginners and intermediates. I highly recommend it!

Jackie Warner 5 Circuit Traning Workouts DVD. It was 15 min or 40 minute options that kick your butt. Beginners could use very low or no weights, increase as you become more comfortable and fit.

i'm doing insanity now (its definitely not beginning level though!!!)
I used to do denise austin's "burn fat fast" and loved it.
    I think she's great.

(unfortunately I found Jillian Michael's "30 day shred" to be monotonous and boring)

    Good Luck!

I love Leslie Sansone DVDs. I have 3 of her DVDs but my favorite is her 5-mile fat burning. I also have 3 of the Biggest Loser DVDs (Power Walk, Cardio Max and Yoga). You might want to try those out.

i really like the dancing with the stars series, i've done the latin workout and the swing workout both will have you sweating, but are fun at the same time, they break the steps down for you and then you do it with them... i find myself rewinding to get the steps, but by the end you really get a work out.

I have been trying to talk my husband into getting a Wii but haven't beenable to persuade him!!
  • Thanks everyone for your input, I just hate to spend money on a video, get it home, and hate it!! I have been looking into the 30 Day Shred but didn't know if it was good for someone just getting back into exercising after not doing a dang thing for 10 months while pregnant!

PowerFit DVDs are good for beginner thru intermediate. These are 20 minute workouts that use a resistance band. Sets are inexpensive and include strength/cardio & flexibility workouts. Do 1 workout & use a light band for beginners/ use heavier band and do 2 workouts for intermediate. Video clips are available here:

The Powerfit Harmony set is $14.99 for 10 workouts & comes with 3 resistance bands.
