What's the best way to lose water weight? Apart from drinking more water, eating less sodium, are there any other tips or specific foods that help? Foods to avoid? I'm a noob, so I'm still learning what's high in sodium.

Excess sodium leads to water weight which can take up to 3 days to go even with drinking plenty of water. It's a natural weight fluctuation so don't fret ok.
Avoid fast food as it's full of salt and should only be eaten now and again.
Crisps/ chips also full of salt.
Processed food like ham also full of salt.
When you enter a food into your diary it will tell you the sodium and you will learn as you go along.

Wishing you all the best ☺

Unless you have a health problem that you should see a doctor for, your body naturally rids itself of excess sodium. While sodium is part of how the body retains water, water retention is usually an indication of some kind of strain the body is under, such as sore muscles it needs to heal. In healthy people, it goes away over time.
