protein balls

I have vanilla protein powder and I want to make strawberry and cream protein balls with it. In my mind I was thinking something similar to a chocolate dipped strawberry. Does anyone know how to make the powder more of a thick coat. I've considered adding it to vanilla candy melts but the extra sugar and calories pretty much eliminate the purpose that way.

You can use greek yogurt in place of chocolate, and freeze them afterwards.

If you could find a low-sugar strawberry jam, or better yet, just fresh strawberries in a blender, you could mix that with the vanilla powder until you have a dough-like consistency. My daughter does this with chocolate protein powder, a bit of honey, and peanut butter, and rolls it into little balls. Then they air-dry a bit, so they're not messy, and we store them in the fridge. You could do this with your strawberry balls... but there would be no candy-type coating on them.

It sounds like a delicious idea, though!

    I'd follow what mission says…

I add protein powder to everything…oatmeal, hot chocolate, pumpkin pancakes, chocolate almond milk…

Only since I really learned just how little I was getting and trying to lift with so little was just plain sad…sad I say…

Plus, vegetarian, so without protein powder it's a bit harder for me to get.
