I recently had surgery on my right knee and I need ideas for exercises I can do while I sit around getting my leg back to normal. I have full use of my left leg but I can't do anything with my right one. Anyone have some exercises? Please help I don't want to start my new year adding on weight because I can't move how I want to.

Upper body exercises are always good. It sounds like a lame suggestion, but YouTube has some tutorial videos for upper body exercises. If you can download apps, check out Sworkit as it also includes a lot of upper body exercises that help burn calories. I like squat punches, but you can vary that by, literally, sitting in the chair and punching. Can really work if you put in effort.
Swimming would be low impact as well if the weather permits and you have access.0 -
Ask the surgeon. He should be able to advise you about what you can and cannot do. If the recovery is huge and extensive, he can send you to PT, thought I doubt you'll need it.0

I work at the YMCA in upstate ny, this month the joining fee is half off....I believe its the same promotion throughout the USA. If you dont wantto join, stop in and ask to speak with a wellness coach...we are always giving out information. Hope this helped0
