What can I do at home for strength training? I have a treadmill, so cardio isn't an issue.

You can do bodyweight training. Or I know some people build themselves a weight training space/room.

I personally have limited space, so I do bodyweight training. I have a TRX, but before that I followed this program: thehybridathlete.com/bodyweight-training-plan/

If you don't like this one, google bodyweight training and you'll find a program that you will like.

I recomend You Are Your Own Gym (YAYOG) Bodyweight training by Mark Lauren. I use his app when traveling and at home when physically getting to the gym just isn't going to happen. Good Luck!

Body weight stuff...maybe supplement with some bands and whatnot...

just keep in mind that to keep progressing you have to keep challenging yourself...you'll outgrow the beginner stuff pretty quick.

Other good resources for body weight work are, "You are Your Own Gym" and "Convict Conditioning."

If your going to weight lift buy a cage, a bench, and a set of olympic weights. with those three things you can do almost everything and do it safely as the safeties on the cage will keep you from being crushed if you miss a lift (you won't need a spotter).

+1 on the bodyweight workouts. Personally, I prefer barbell work, but that's just because I don't really have the coordination to walk and chew gum at the same time :'(
