What music do you play to get HYPED?

Sometimes aggressive rap. (trap, drill, etc...)
But actually mostly use "inspirational" rap. That "i started with nothing now Im here" type of stuff. Examples:
Future - Blood, Sweat, Tears
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylbLjXwFVuU
Ty $ - Never Be The Same
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQnCHHiziEs
Not high BPM, not aggressive - but oddly, that's the type of music that pumps me up in the gym.
Edit - no idea why the actual vids showed up, haven't got my forum on in a minute tho.0 -

Listened to them for the first time a couple days ago. Not too bad, although I'm usually into heavier vocals.
I like to understand what I am listening too, I like "screamo" stuff....but not stuff my sisters and I have named "Growlo" haha.

Cool, I know of them. I've listened to a lot of 80's firstwave black metal; but not as much thrash/heavy/etc.0

Especially for running: "Castle of Glass" by Linkin' Park
OR "Don't Worry, Be Happy" (Puts a pep in my step )0 -
I'm naturally hyper. I need to find music to wind down.0

It kills me to admit this:
Kanye West-Stronger has pushed me to finish a few times.0 -
Dubstep, Dubstep, Dubstep. I love nearly everything I've heard by Nero, Flux Pavilion, Knife Party and Bassnector.
I second any album by Nine Inch Nails, particularly Downward Spiral. It's impossible not to love the infectious T-Rez!!!0 -
Stones. Everytime.0
-
House. I love house music.0
-
Christian Rock! Love to get my Praise on!!!0

You must work out for a long time?!0 -
Don't judge me but mine is Right Above It by Lil Wayne feat. Drake for weight lifting. Also anything from Lil Wayne's album 'The Carter IV' (especially Blount Blowin').
When I run, I enjoy live Dave Matthews Band concerts where the songs are like 10 minutes a piece and I can just get my mind off of running.0 -
Lately I've been listening to Kanye West "Monster" on repeat while working out. Normally I listen to like...Elvis, and bluegrass.0

and then not rap: Panic! At the Disco0 -
Old school hardcore. Judge, Agnostic Front, Warzone, Sick of it All, Bad Brains, Cro-Mags, Leeway.
Metal - Heaven Shall Burn, All Out War, Ringworm, Whitechapel, Black Crown Initiate.
And of course, Slayer and Motorhead.0 -
Taylor Swift - Shake it Off!0

It seems kind of odd for a genre to get one pumped up, but grunge really gets me going, especially Soundgarden ("Rusty Cage" really gets me going), Nirvana, PJ. After that would be Punk Ska (Less than Jake, Reel Big Fish - great for a fast paced walk!).0
