A success story of sorts. Looking forward to speaking to some old friends on here. I've recently beaten renal cancer. At 31 it was a very difficult time but I'm still only 3 weeks after surgery and still very much recovering.

I did lose 70lbs in 2013 and I sit here now 22lbs from where I want to be hence the reason for coming back. I'm 218 with 196 my target weight.

Diet is very much my focus point with exercise, other than walking right now, out of the question.

If anyone wants to ask questions or add me please feel free.

I know you can do it! I have at least one friend on MFP who reached her target weight through diet alone, and a fair few others who simply did diet and walking with their fitbits/jawbone ups etc. I'm glad the surgery went well. xx

Thank you very much. My appetite is so little right now that I'm nowhere near my daily allowance but I'm building it up after the surgery.

Thanks for all your kind comments x

Wow! Way to go! The weight will get there, even without exercise as of yet! I am happy to hear you are being kind to your body. Congratulations on the wonderful news! I am certain it being a difficult time is an understatement. 22 pounds is nothing now! It will come off!
