Starting Over

Hi there! Brand new to MyFitnessPal - as of this morning in fact. I'm hoping to get myself back into the nutrition and fitness game by keeping track of what I'm putting into my mouth and what I'm doing by getting off of the coach.

I lost 75 pounds 8 years ago via Weight Watchers and kept it off for 6 years. But a knee injury which kept me from running, cockiness at thinking I "had it beat" and then dealing with a couple of tough years by filling my face have resulted in me gaining back 30 of those pounds.

I have set myself a goal of taking off that 30 pounds with 20 of it gone by end of June. That may seem like more than possible but I have an endocrine imbalance that results in me losing weight veeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrryyyyyy slowly.

I will gratefully accept any and all encouragement and am looking forward to finding my way around

Feel free to add me. I'm looking for support as well. I lost 58 pounds in 2013 however 201r wasn't as nice to me. Between grad school and a back injury I completely lost myself. Looking for support as well. We can push each other.

Welcome! MFP is a great tool. I gained when I was struggling with a back/pelvis issue. I'm down 20 -- if I can you can! Feel free to add me for support.
