Losing weight while on Lupron

My doctor is recommending that I go on Lupron and all I see in my research of the drug are horror stories of uncontrollable weight gain while on it. Are there any ladies here who have been on it? How did it affect your weight loss efforts? Or did it affect your weight at all?

    I prescribe Lupron and my experience has been that my patients who were thin to begin with don't typically gain weight but if they had any weight problem to start with then it can be challenging. I think if you are already thinking about how you will prevent the weight gain then you should be okay. I wouldn't describe the typical weight gain as uncontrollable.
