I find it hard to stop eating junk food.. HELP!

I'm in need of some help. I work in the oil field so all I eat is junk food! I try to watch what I eat but it's hard to find something healthy. I try packing my lunches but I end up just packing junk! Help?

Maybe make a healthy grocery list and have a friend or family member go with you to the grocery the first couple of times?
What kinds of healthy things do you like? For the junk food maybe try finding something similar to it or something with less calories, etc..0 -
It's a lot easier to not pack junk food for lunch if you don't keep it in the house. Even certain "healthy" things I have to stay away from...like nutrition bars...because if I'm having a weak willed day, that box is gone in one day, so I don't buy them. It's SO hard at first to not run to the "go to" foods...but there's a reason you are here. Try to keep the reasons why you want to lose weight/get fit in the forefront of your mind. I find that it's easier to stay on track by allowing myself one "junk meal" a week. I usually pick Saturdays. I know for that one meal...it's no holds barred! This helps me make smarter choices during the week.
You can do it! Just wake up each day and tell yourself that you are worth making good choices for! Good luck!0 -
ur gonna have to do what the above said and just start buying healthier stuff. OR you could pack like small bags of chips and candies but only small portions of it so you wont go overboard? sun chips are healthy arent they? or some trail mix, or one of those 100 calorie packs and what not? S0

Oil field can be pretty remote. Do you have access to a good grocery store? I pack my own lunch and I make heavy use of ziploc bags to pre-package good snacks. Have you discovered individually packed yogurts yet? Could you be the Yogurt Dude out on the oilfield?0
