That's awesome ! I am in the same boat (literally!) my start weight was just a little bit more than you and my goal is 150 by July ! I've also consistently struggled to maintain my weight when I was thinner (my lowest weight was 140). This time I'm setting up a lifestyle that is sustainable so I'll truly be healthy. Happy weight loss !0

I have a very similar weight loss goals to both of you. I need to lose more than just 40 but I really would like be be down at least 40 pounds by the beginning of June. I have also always struggled with my weight, always the "fat friend" (my feelings not my friend's words, they say I look fine...) at my thinnest I was also about 140. It would like to get back around there, maybe even a little lighter. I just need to make a lasting lifestyle change and stop taking 1 step forward and 3 back. Feel free to add me. I will try to be motivating and supportive0

Hi! Looking for others to add that are consistent with this app to hopefully help keep my head in the game and stay on track. Going to send a friend request! Best of luck to all of us!0

That seems like too much to lose in such a short time! I'd say a year is more realistic, depending on where on your healthy weight scale you are trying to get to. It takes some people over a year just to lose the last 10-20 pounds if they are aiming on the low end of the scale.0

I'm new to MFP and can't seem to figure out how to reply to each individual post (is that even possible? Lol) the lowest I've ever weighed was 160lbs and I loved it! About 2 years ago I lost 20lbs in 3 months, but fell of track and gained it all back (plus some *tear*). I agree, 40lbs in 4 months might be a bit ambitious, but I'm certain that I'll be able to achieve my goal weight by July (the latest) which would allot me a total of 6 months to drop this weight!0
