Hi there, I'm Nicki. 12 years ago I lost 120 lbs the WRONG WAY. Over time I gained it all back and then some. I have been afraid to go after losing weight again because I didn't want to repeat the cycle of abuse I set myself into before. Recently after losing a a dear family member due to obesity related illness I decided to pair my faith with my desire to live a long life. I am currently taking Advocare and have lots 30 lbs in two months. I have just over 100 to go and my goal is to do that in one year. I am allowing CHRIST to Leanne as I take this journey.

I really hope that this time you don't do it the wrong way either. I hope this time you go about it by teaching yourself balanced nutrition and learning by trial and error, what works best for you, without pills and potions and gimmicks. I hope that you learn what kinds of exercise are out there and how to combine them to give you optimum health and keep you strong and agile in your later years. I hope you can teach yourself balance and planning and self-discipline and goal setting in a healthy way that allows you to maintain this for the rest of your life. I hope that since you did it wrong last time, that this time you wont fall for any get slim quick challenges or shortcuts, since all shortcuts give temporary sub-par results.

I hope this time you do it the right way. the only guaranteed way. the healthiest, smartest, time-tested way.

eat smart, because YOU TAUGHT YOURSELF HOW
get fit, because YOU LEARNED WHAT THAT ACTUALLY MEANS
rest well, because YOU UNDERSTAND HOW IMPORTANT THAT IS
stay balanced, because YOU WANT TO DO THIS THE RIGHT WAY.
keep teaching yourself, because YOU DONT WANT TO FALL FOR ANY PROPAGANDA OR GIMMICKS.
skip shortcuts, because YOURE WORTH MORE THAN THAT.
Be steady, SO YOU NEVER HAVE TO START FROM THE BEGINNING AGAIN.

    * and by gimmicks and shortcuts, I mean programs like Advocare and Raspberry ketones and anything that encourages you to do any of this FAST.

this is something that should be done slowly.
