my appetite is just out of control! it's so annoying. and though most everything i eat is very healthy, i eat a ton of calorie dense food like nuts, avocado, bananas, etc. i don't even count my calories anymore cause it's so time consuming and such an arduous process. back when i barely exercised and ate a lot less than i do now, i was much skinnier. i'm getting toned now and am developing more muscle, so that's great and everything but i don't look as good as i did back then i don't think. now i burn so many calories that i either need to prepare a boat load of food to bring in to work (i'm out of the house for about 14 hours every day so i need to pack a LOT of food) or i'll end up eating a ton of crap we have at my school. i'm eating a lot more veggies lately but it's so expensive >;( i really love working out but honestly i feel like it's so much easier to just exercise less and eat less.... i want to start long distance running again but i know my hunger will go through the roof if i do that! i don't know what to do, i feel like my ridiculous appetite is holding me back. does anyone have any tips/suggestions or ideas?

    protein
  • Pretty much every sentence of your post was something you already had in mind, followed by an excuse ("BUT"). You already know what you need to do, you're just holding yourself back from doing it because it takes work. Let go of the excuses and start doing what you know you need to do to be your best self.

Black beans are my new obsession -- tons of carbs to fuel distance running, tons of protein to keep building lean muscle mass, and not an ounce of meat to be found. :)
