Protein powders that last a long time and isn't spendy?

To get an adequate amount of protein, I eat 3 servings a day of a 30 g/serving protein powder (I also get proteins from other places, but of all the foods I eat, that has the most protein). The problem is that the last one I had only lasted for about a week because of the rate I was consuming it. 25+ grams protein and little to no sugars, please. I at least want to be paying the right price (or less).

For starters- you probably don't need to be consuming 250 grams of protein a day.
Secondly- eat more meats- dairy to get more protein- consuming over 60 grams of protein in whey is just excessive when you could be eating it instead.
I use Gold Standard- it's reliable- industry standard - lots of flavors and doesn't break the budget.
But I'd look at eating more food based sources of protein honestly. Use the powder as as supplement.0 -
Buying in 5-10lbs is the best. But as well you really don't need that many shakes a day ..just a thought. It gets costly consuming it at that rate and depending on your stats your body may not be even using that amount of protein it will go to waste .0

Sorry, I forgot to include this. The reason I'm eating protein powder isn't just for recovery, but so I can get enough protein because I don't eat meat. I get other sources of proteins from beans, nuts, egg whites, yogurt, etc. Also, I'm trying to follow a 50:30:20 protein:carb:fat diet for fat loss (I don't need to lose a lot of weight or any at all), which is why I'm consuming so much protein at a 1760 calorie goal. But I could try to use less servings of protein powder in a day.

eating an obscene amount of protein won't help with fat loss- eating at a calorie deficit- and lifting weights will help optimize fat loss- 250 grams is WAY to much honestly. as long as you are getting over 100 grams- you're fine.
also- if you're going to ask about protein- and you don't eat meat- you need to include that- that's incredibly relevant information and without it- it makes it hard to answer the question.0 -
I agree with Jo, you really don't need that much protein.
In saying that, I think myprotein is about the cheapest. Or what about supermarket offers if you're just looking for quantity.
Personally, I wait till my favourites are on offer either on bb.com or their own sites.0
