I know a lot of people that use Shakeology and love it... I really don't want to even try it bc if I fall love with it I know I wont want to send the 129 each month.... I really like the idea of all the super foods that are in it conveniently. anyone use any other cheaper alternatives other than buying the foods individually ?

@jkwolly ya i do make my own protein shakes but the shakeology is more for the added greens and other nutrients so i was seeing if there was a comparable type on the market

Exactly what do those "super foods" do for you, and in what quantity would you need to consume them in order to reap those benefits?

Good & fair question! I am on my last bag of Shakeology so I'd be interested in this too... oh, well I have Arbonne Protein powder mix to use after, too.

I put spirulina in my smoothies, but that's mostly for the b12.

I like to drink a GNC Lean Shake 25 inbetween breakfast and lunch. Tried Shakeology and did not like either one of the 2 favors that I tried.

I just wanted to add I tried the Shakeology..for the most part it tasted good, but for anyone who has a heart condition it could cause rapid heart rate which happened to me because off some of the ingredients. Other then that a lot of people use this product even though I think it's a bit overpriced. There are many recipes out there as an alternative and cost less.

Your mindset is wrong. You shouldn't be trying to find stuff like Shakeology. Shakeology is a product you should be trying to avoid. There is nothing magical or special about it.

    Eat real food.

This post is probably going to go downhill quickly, as most people around here don't buy into the Shakeology hype. I use it, personally I just use a half a scoop instead of a whole scoop, which makes the bag last two months for me. Doing that, the price point is comparable to a lot of other stuff on the market (obviously this cuts the nutrients and protein content in half though). However, I've heard that Organic Super Food by Naturo Sciences or Amazing Grass Green SuperFood are both great to mix with a protein powder if you want to go that route. You can find them on Amazon for a decent price, both have good reviews, but I've never tried them myself.
