Any tips or suggestions for someone starting fresh?

    Only that if your target calories per day is less than 1200, its too aggressive.... otherwise stick with it and you'll see results!
  • I was wondering why it adds more calories to eat when I enter my work outs. Does that sound right?

    MFP allows you to "eat back" calories burned. Some choose to do so, others not, and some choose to eat back a portion

    Welcome! The best tip I have is to track ALL of your food, even on days where you fall off the wagon. Glad to have you here. :)
