This is specifically for the mommas out there:
I had my son 8 months ago and I've lost all the weight. However, NOTHING looks the same as I'm sure most of you also experienced. I'm okay with that for the most part, but I'm hating the saggy, extra skin on my tummy.
Do you guys have any tips/tricks? I tried a postpartum girdle and hated it so I hope that's not my only option. Are there any exercises or foods/liquids I can add to my diet to help?

Losing weight and toning the middle. You can't spot reduce. Try body wraps.0

I had 2 csections and unfortunately nothing has gotten rid of my extra skin. I think I may get a tummy tuck for this purpose when I hit my goal weight.0

After two c-sections, when my youngest was one, I ate low-fat and worked out pretty hard and lost the belly. Unfortunately it eventually all went to "pot" and I have a belly to lose again, and I'm much older. : - /0

Ive had two kids...youngest is now 4 and a half and my dreaded mummy tummy is still hanging around...albeit a little smaller :-/ ...I cant really suggest anything coz im still trying to get rid of mine but just wanted to say that ur not alone x0

Lindsey Brins CFS method works, (don't do crunches). Planks are best. I'd do pilates if I were you... start easy though. Im 6 months post partum and still working up to it. I'm also taking a belly dancing class. Hulla hooping can whittle that middle. that's how I did it with my first child who is now 2.5 years old. eat healthy. realize that it is low muscle tone and your internal corset is loose after pregnancy. work at it a little each day and you'll be good. you CAN overdo it, so literally... a little each day.0

oh and water... lots of water... will help the skin become elastic again. it's needs hydration!0

What is the theory of the body wraps? Are they being suggested because of some spot reducing myth or are they supposed to (and probably don't) revitalize the collagen and elastin in the skin? (Which breaks down as we age, which is why I suspect my skin bounced right back to smooth after my first two babies but hung sad and wrinkled after my third, who was born in my late 30s)
Either way, body wraps probably won't do anything for you. Staying hydrated and moisturizing are your best hopes for the skin sag. For mummy tummy that is actually fat? Read the pinned "so you want a nice stomach" thread and follow that advice.0 -

Do some weight lifting. It will improve the shape of your body and make your feel better.0
