Walking at work

I work out a little bit after work. But out of curiosity, my question is that I work at a grocery retail store, I am constantly walking or standing up on my feet for 8hrs a day and wondering if that would qualify as a "120 min of walking" in MFP? It says it burns a little over 400 calories. I only use 2hrs Because I don't want to cheat myself or am I already? Thanks in advance! I just want to be honest with myself

I don't know. I log all my walking and exercise plus everything I eat, and it always says I should weight a lot less. I think that some usual activity is already accounted for here.

I think this would go toward the activity level you set for yourself since you do this regularly. It's part of your existing lifestyle instead of a purposeful change you are making to add exercise in.

I guess if you have yourself set to sedentary then, yes, it would be something you need to add in as exercise because you are definitely burning calories.

This is what the activity level is for...you should be including that in your activity level and MFP will include those calories in your daily allotment....

You should probably select, "Active: Spend a good part of the day doing some physical activity (e.g. waitress, mailman)...or you could try "Lightly Active"...just pick one and make adjustments as per your real world results...but that's how you account for that activity. You only add on deliberate, additional exercise.

Work is part of your activity level - not exercise.

Thanks everyone who posted for clarifying that! I was greatly confused!
