im not sure on other ways to tone my butt muscles other that squats and lunges?

    Forward lunges, reverse lunges, curtesy lunges, back squat, front squat, pistols, plié squats, leg curl, hip thrust, wall balls, thruster

    Deadlifts and leg lifts (on your side, with barbell resting on upper leg....and, LIFT/Ease Down/Repeat)

    Yoga has lots of good moves for your rear. Look for Ashtanga, Power Yoga or Yoga for Strength classes/programs. (Not the gentle or meditative ones) Those are the types that really use your own body weight for meaningful resistance.

    Just whatever you try to learn, make sure you learn to use proper form. Deadlifts and a whole bunch of other exercises can screw up your back if you don't lift right. Find someone who really knows how to lift right and ask them to help you.
