You should always eat and get enty of water after a hard workout. You need to replenish what you have depleted from your body. You also don't want your body to go into starvation mode and store fat. I always eat right after my workouts, I get sooo hungry. So I listen to my body and fuel it0

I do. Just don't go crazy. Have some protein or a protein shake. I usually eat dinner shortly after working out.0

Why would it not be?
You can eat all your calories after you train if you really want to0 -
Dont over complicate it
Heck when i train in the morning i eat breakfast - about 600 cal. Eggs, brown rye, Mushrooms, Asparagus and heaps of water
im starving like 30 min after
so i eat again.... I love it0 -

I'm usually very hungry after a workout if I didn't get enough calories in during the day. If this is the case I'll eat something with protein in it like a half a cup of cottage cheese or Greek yogurt. I work out late in the evening, though, so I don't eat too much after my workouts.0

Starvation mode: It's Not A Thing.
But, yeah, if you have an appetite after working out, eat away. If you've been lifting heavy, your body is probably wanting some carbs and protein to fuel and feed the building of muscle fiber. Lots of water, too!
I'm always starving after lifting. Cardio makes me want to puke, though, which is why I neglect it shamelessly and don't eat after the rare occasions I go all out. Feeling like you want to barf is the only reason I can think of NOT to eat post workout.0 -
People have told me not to eat until 2 hours after my workout to get the full burn potential of the workout and others have told me to eat within 2 hours of my workout for the same benefit...Whether or not one is right is irrelevant to me. I know that if I don't eat soon after I work out, then I'm likely to binge later on. I'm more likely to pick a healthier snack right after I worked out than later on in the evening when that post-workout high is gone and all I want to do is shove the nearest food into my mouth.0

people are idiots.
eat.
I get so hungry after a workout I want to stop at the store on my way home and get a snack- and I live 5 min from my gym.0 -
I only get hungry after workouts If I am doing cardio with my weights because I always do weights.0

Hunger can also be triggered by dehydration.
I drink about a quart of water first. That usually does the trick, particularly when my cal count is on track.0 -

I almost always take a snack with me now- it's just too tempting to stop and get a little something..> I'm like a starved beast- I am SO hungry after workouts- it's a little silly LOL0 -
I can be super hungry after exercise depending on what I do.
After a long run a lot of times I'm the opposite of hungry but I still force myself to get a little something to recover (half a larbar, peanut butter and half a banana, etc).
After Pilates, pole and other strength training, I'm usually STARVING0
