WATER WATER?!?!

I am struggling to drink the water I'm suppose to drink. I've done good for so long but it gets boring just drinking water. Anyone else have the same problem?

    carry a water bottle with you all day then you can just sip all day long I have to put a glass of ice tea in there sometimes just to change things up but always strive to get my water
  • yes..i am so tired of water but i only like sweet tea with lots of sugar or soda so i just keep drinking my boring water..

  • Change your mindset about the water. I was that way too after coming off of the sweet drinks and soda, but now water is all I drink. Think of the water as replenishing and detoxifying your body. That's what it actually does.

    Crystal Light packets. They are 10 calories, but it gets me to drink a bottle of water with no problems. Also, I need my plain water to be super cold. I don't like it room temp at all.
    One of my coworkers puts fruit in hers, like berries, melons, etc. I'm not a fan, but she seems to like it.
  • Try to drink as much as possible, will help to drop the pounds. I'm not a coffee or pop drinker so water and milk is really all I drink. Keep up the hard work!

    just, like the above poster gauthentic said, need to change your mindset. Water is the single most important element of heath, kinda up there with sleep. Water is life.
    Stepping up and chugging two glasses of water is not really that big a deal is it when you thing about it. Takes all of 45 seconds. 8 glasses a day is a minimum especially if you are working out. Only time I add anything to water is when I am doing cardio. I add an amino acid which has a lemon lime flavor which is nice and an electrolyte to help with the salt I lose.
    think of water like sleep and breathing. Necessity. It will become natural as it has with me

    Yes.. I'm sitting at my desk, drinking boring water out of a boring cup... :( But I never have to burn the calories from water off so it's worth it... lol

    In the winter I drink TONS of hot tea. I pretty much drink it all day long. Some caffeinated and some not. I drink a lot of green tea now too. That's how I get my water!

    I believe most people who carry a bottle of water all day are sipping. How many bottles of water do you sip per day? I set goals.. it takes me 30 minutes to get to work in the morning.. I guzzle down a 20 oz bottle during that drive. I set a goal to try to drink (sipping) a 20 oz bottle during the work day.. I never finish that bottle. I finish that on my drive home in addition to guzzling another 20 oz bottle. I set a goal to drink at least 16 oz more before bedtime. I sip during the night when I wake up as I get horrific muscle cramps in legs at night (sipping water helps them to not be as aggressive). If not in the mood to drink water, I will chew a piece of Ice Breakers gum, makes the water taste better. Set a goal.

    I have a 1 gallon GLASS water pitcher with a Kishu Binchotan Charcoal Stick at the bottom to passively filter it. That way I don't have the yucky flavor of plastic bottle or the yucky flavor of our tap water, makes it much easier to drink. Then I just refill it overnight and tomorrow's water is waiting for me in the morning. Usually keep a mug with me all times and just sip throughout the day. For flavor, can use lemon, mint, cucumber, celery, berries-- experiment and see what you like.
  • I find it impossible to drink water.. I can't stand it! I'm drinking peach flavoured water in 250ml bottles.. It's 4 calories a bottke.. It might not be perfect but it's better than nothing! X

    You can also get water from the foods you eat. And tea is great too!!

    I add just enough sugar free squash to change the colour of the water slightly - that little bit of flavour makes it palatable. Having said that, plain water is undoubtedly best, but I don't think I would drink enough of it to hit my goals if I didn't flavour it.

    I get a fair amount of water from my coffee and diet soda. I just recently started drinking plain water and i try to mix things up. I will either drink a glass in between meals or some days i drink water with each meal and use the soda as a "treat" in between meals. For some reason in the summer i always get on a kick where i use a lot of water enhancers.
