Sit ups will not help, nor will any exercise allow you to reduce in specific areas. Just keep losing body fat - genetics dictate how it comes off.0

Eat at a deficit and strength train. You can't spot reduce. Looks like you still have about 130 pounds to go?0

took a quick look at the diary. You may want to up your protein drop some carbs, need more when you lose fat. Also the amount of sugar you eat is crazy. at that level you will struggle a lot. some people will say sugar doesn't matter but based on what I see it is something you really need to address.0

I'm assuming you mean a 'mother's apron'. As you get closer to your goal it may tighten up a bit. I have one too. Depending on the severity, or if there is any skin breakdown your insurance may cover it.
Mine tightened up as I got to goal last time, but I have gained 100 lb and had another kid since then so I'm not holding out much hope. My stomach is a mess, in general.0 -

Nope, none of this. All that matters for weight loss is eating less calories than you burn, and any foods that help YOU personally achieve that are good. If you prefer more carbs and they keep you full, go with it! DO try to up your protein, but as long as you're above the minimum recommendations (10% of total calorie intake) then you're alright. I personally would recommend more than that, because protein is more satiating, but again, it's your business what you fill your calories with.
Regarding the flab--As you lose weight, you will lose some of the flab. A combination of genetics and how fast you lose weight will determine how much "flab" (loose skin, actually) you'll have left when you reach your goal, but heavy lifting can help out with that. Your first two responses (Sarauk2sf and Lifting4Lis) know what they're talking about, listen to them!
All the best with your goals!0 -

Sugar is not the culprit for belly fat. I'd have never have lost weight there if that were the case. I ate a hilarious amount of sugar in weight loss.
Fat loss is genetically predisposed to come off where it may. You cannot spot reduce. A moderate calorie deficit and patience is what is needed. Weightlifting will help retain lean body mass in a deficit as well.

When looking at her diary and focusing on the sugar, did you notice the calories at all?

Don't fell bad. You are not alone. When I stop walking, parts of me keep going for a few more minutes.....0

You have just started tracking, right? Try to hit your macros (especially the protein and fat macros), keep walking or whatever you are doing for exercise, and you will begin to lose some weight...sometimes folks get "first fervor" on a weight loss regimen and seriously under eat - not good. You should be eating AT LEAST your BMR # and from what you have written, you aren't. As you drop weight, keep moving ... the flab will lessen. You could also consider doing strength training to help maintain muscle mass.0
