Hi

So like many people, I've done quite a few diets and I personally have found they are so hard to stick to, I come off the diet and end up putting on more weight than when I started!

This time, I am eating a normal, balanced diet and moving more.

It would be interesting to know who's healthy eating and who is sticking to a diet.

You transition from one to the other, maintainance isn't a massive jump calorie wise from when you were on a "diet".

I'd guess most people in here believes they are eating healthy, whether they're on a specific diet or not. And most people tend to find non-specific diets easier to adhere to.

I think I eat reasonably healthy... I follow IIFYM.

I don't think of myself as 'on a diet', I'm either cutting to lose a little bodyfat, or maintaining.

2 years ago I done the Dukan diet which was to me very restrictive. I'm really enjoying eating healthy food but in moderation. I personally find as soon as I think I'm in a diet I crave chocolate!
  • Definitely healthy eating. I find that when diets stop all the old bad habits come back. At least with healthy eating it's not as strict and your able to have the odd cheat day which won't leave you feeling crappy afterwards !

Healthy eating for sure. It's a lifestyle change, not a temporary fix.

Same as me. I'm finding healthy eating really good so far, I'm not restricted to eating certain foods which I love. I always fail on diets then eat because I'm fed up!!
