Fighting the big M and nicotine cravings

Hi there. Since going through the big M (menopause) and quitting smoking and working, I've packed on some pounds. The biggest concern for me is that I can't breathe well with the extra weight. I've done weight watchers religiously and had no weight loss so I am trying this on MFP. I've seen no improvement and actually a small gain so I've amped up my exercise and changed a few items in my diet. Any other suggestions will be appreciated.
