Too many calories?

Anyone else feel that MFP has given you TOO many calories to consume in day? I strongly believe in counting calories as a way to lose weight, but this just feels like so many!

1310 is not too many. That's still a little bit. And your Fitbit is giving you the calories that you have to eat back for energy since you've already burned with exercise.

If you entered in your weight and exercise correctly then it is correct.
I struggle with how few it gives me.
You obviously do not have to eat that many calories (unless it is like 3000 for some reason) but you may also want to question why you think it is too many.

Like because you're too full? I don't get it.

As far as I can see, you've logged for a total of three days - you went over your calorie goals two of those days. But you think you get too many calories? I'm really confused.

    No....

My guess if you have no idea of what your actual energy requirements actually are...it's likely you "burn" 1300 - 1400 calories or so merely breathing and thus existing.

Also, why are you exceeding your calorie goals but then thinking MFP is giving you too many calories...doesn't compute.

Your diary shows nothing near too many calories calculated.

MFP gave me 1,200 from day one, generally I'll have between 1,200 to 1,500 (plus two cheat meals a week). I've lost 20 kilos so far, In my opinion it's not too many.

If you're being very accurate with your logging 1,310 is a fine amount.

If you're logging is a little bit off you might actually be getting that many calories (or more eeep!) and feeling full but it may appear to be less.

No, I don't. And my weight loss is reflecting that it's more or less accurate, as I am losing. If I weren't losing, I'd wonder if it was too much.

Too many? More like too few in my case! I struggle with eating only 1200. :'(

Nope, I'm currently at 1690 per day and that's just about enough, but I could eat way more than that. I started at over 2100 way back when.

You have two days logged and one of them is over. I don't understand the question.

Haha, didn't mean it as a tease. I just recently started logging again and I was expecting a different number when I entered my info. Right after posting this I adjusted my activity levels since I just started a new job and it adjusted accordingly. Definitely feels like too few now  , but all is well and I'm doing my best. Hope everyone is doing well and thanks for all the replies.
