I am currently 279.2 lbs and have finally decided enough is enough. I played college basketball, which seems like 20 years ago. I am 27 years old and realize I'm getting to the age where I can't take my health for granted. If I continue down this path I know I am headed towards something bad.
I always deny it but I know I've been battling a little depression deep down. I don't treat the people closest to me like I should. I know I do this because I don't feel good about myself, but I've always denied that too.
My best friend is getting married May 30th and I'm using that as a kick starter for my lifestyle change, as he's given me the honor of standing up with him
I've bought all the products from protein to pre workout drinks. I've got the knowledge as far as working out and nutrition, it's just a matter of following through. Tomorrow is my first stay of getting my life back on track (it seems like I've said this 10,000 times).
I can't afford to keep putting this off, so I won't. I owe it to my family and to me. I don't even know who I'm typing this to but the first step is admitting the problem, even if it is on my iPhone app that none of my family can see. Haha. I have a terrible problem with holding things inside and don't communicate very well.
I hope I finally change my lifestyle to a healthy one so I can someday watch my children have children.

Time to go to sleep and get ready. I'm nervous, but excited for tomorrow to come.
