How many slices of cheese is an ounce?

Also, if you have any tips on how to eyeball food/ounces would be great

Thanks in advance!

It depends on the size of the slice of cheese.

If the database here is right, it seems like one slice of cheese (like you get at a deli counter...thin and square) is about an ounce. If you're cutting it yourself from those rectangular blocks you get at the store, all bets are off. ;)

You may want to invest in a food scale, it's been a huge help to me.

get a cheap food scale for sure

but a slice is probably around 1 oz or so. like a kraft singles slice.

I've been thinking about getting a food scale. It would probably be a good investment, ha.
    Thanks, everyone!
