a bit about myself... i am 22 yrs old. when i was younger i was an active person.. i would bike ride, play soccer or volleyball. i used to be 140 pounds.
once i got to college i gained my freshman 10 and i was 150 pounds.. sophmore year i gained another 10.. 160. junior year i studied abroad in italy for a semester.. by the time i got back i was 167. within the last year and a half i got to 185. I have managed to loose 2-3 pounds and i am at 182.
I am tired of being overweight. I want to lose some weight. I have started planning my meals and i have a plan to lose 1lb a week.
In terms of exercise...I wake up at 4am to get ready for work. I get home around 5 pm. I am usually in bed by 9:30pm (i know..so early) I dont have much time for gym so my weight loss needs to come from my diet.
I am looking for motivation and someone to keep me on my feet when i feel like eating those onion rings.
If you have similar goals let me know and we can keep each other in check

Hi, I am a fiftysomething grandma with a similar goal, though I started much heavier.
Yes, you can lose weight with diet alone. I suggest small changes to your lifestyle and habits that you can sustain the rest of your life.
Do you have ready access to healthy snacks?0 -
I am right there with ya. My goal is 165. I am a very active person but have a desk job which doesn't help things. Work full time, 2 young kids etc... I have started exercising before work (getting up at 5am) because I like to eat and drink :-)
Could you get a walk in after work? Also healthy filling snacks are huge for me. Pretzel sticks if you like quantity, hummus, nuts etc...0 -
