I suposse that I am just being impatient but I have set my goal to lose 2lbs per week and I have logged under 1200 calories for 7 days and I haven't lost any weight. Does anyone have similar stories? Did anyone else start out this way?
Thanks!
Thanks!

It's been one week. Relax. With 35lbs to lose you really don't need to lose at 2lbs/week.0

I hear u. I have to loose 30 pounds. It's been a week and zero weight loss. I working out as well. It's frustrating. Guess we have to be patience0

I gained a pound my first week, so be lucky.
Really, you're going to learn that weight loss is not linear, and even if you are 100% accurate with your logging there will be days/weeks where you don't lose for multiple reasons. Be patient, make sure your diary is correct, and it will happen.0 -
If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal
you also need to eat 1200 calories plus going under is not a good move aim for 1 pound a week you get more food to eat
weight your food as you might, not saying you have been eating more than you thought.
and it takes time lots of time0 -

Tanks Katherine this has helped reading this as when u have less to lose it seems the weight loss is much slower - is disheartening when u r sticking to the cals and nothing happens : )

Eat more food. At your age and weight there's no reason or excuse to go under 1200.
Double check to make sure you're logging accurately and then just be patient and trust the process. If this is going to last it has to be about developing good habits, and that takes time.

You may whoosh and drop three pounds in a week at some point. Eat enough so that you aren't going crazy if you do it for a week or two without seeing progress.
Be patient. It will happen. It's a long process!0
