Fruit & Sugar - Help

So I'm already well over my sugar allowance for the day.
I had an orange, banana & clementine for breakfast, went to the gym and now for lunch I'm having a banana, Orange and rice cake and I'm over my allowance.
Is there good & bad sugar? Is fruit sugar ok?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

sugar = sugar
unless you have a medical condition that makes you sensitive to sugar there is no reason to limit it.
Also, the MFP sugar recommendation is ridiculously low. I really do not pay attention to it.
If you eat in a deficit you will lose weight, regardless of sugar intake.0 -
OK great, thanks very much.
I just keep hearing everywhere sugar is bad but conversely to eat lots of fruit?
Gets a bit confusing.
And yep I've been pretty strict.
Have lost 3st (42lb) since August and been going to the gym and eating salads and stir frys....and lots of fruit
Have a couple of treats a week but go to the gym 4-5 times s week so keeping on top of it.
Also have MFP set to 1300 calories a day
Thanks for the info.0
