Lol, who used to use "Sun In" in their hair back in the day?
I was looking at some old "breakdancing" competitions my friends and I were in on FB and we were busting up about how much Sun In we used to use in our hair!!! Nothing like orange/red hair!!!

I didn't but my sister managed to dye her hair pretty much orange with that stuff.0

It was great if you wanted your hair color somewhere between Golden Retriever and Irish Setter.0
-
Used to? They still sell it and I use it in the summer sometimes.0
-
I still use it, my hairs naturally a bit ginger anyway so lightens it pretty well ha0
-

Did they have Sun In back in the early 70's when I still had some hair?0
-
I used sun in when I was in middle school and high school since I was not allowed to dye my hair. I look at old pictures and laugh now.0
-
used it - I have redish hair anyway - so I had the nice orange/copper tint. When curlfree came out I thought I died and gone to heaven, between the two my hair was always "crispy"0
-
Ok, I read the title of this thread as "who used to use Sun in on their BACK hair" lol. Funny visual0
-
I did! I still remember the smell!0
-
loved that stuff, think i burned all the pictures out of embarrassment long ago0
-
i did once. the oh so fashionable copper hair didn't quite go with my natural colouring! i thought it was great for about a month.. then i wondered what the hell i was thinking!0

I have natural "orange hair" anyway, but back then I so wanted to be a blond! Tried everything, Sun-In, lemon juice. Got to strawberry blond...but sadly never blond. Now I wouldn't change it. This hair color is our family legacy. You should see my grandkids!0

Yes, I used it in 8th grade MANY years ago. It did turn my brown hair lighter - not really orange though - but then as it grew out, i had a big brunette racing stripe down my part. Yikes!0
