expired whey protein

I have a jug of gnc whey protein I found in my pantry,it expired in 8/14...think I can still use it?

Expired whey usually lasts a little longer than the date printed.
But, use your nose. If it smells like pure garbage... toss it. Also, take into consideration how long it will take you to finish it. A few weeks? A few months? If it's a long time... just get a new tub.
The texture and taste might be a little off as well.0 -
Probably fine but hey, if things go wrong then you can just call it a cleanse.0

You sure it's "expired" and it's not the 'sell by' or 'best by' date? If it's either of the latter, the taste may be a bit off, but you should come out unscathed.0

The more expensive the protein powder the sooner is the expiration date. For the most part it is a guide, not a "this is pure poison after the following date" fact.0
