Hashimoto's, gluten free, Type 1 diabetic

I need support. Hashimoto's is an autoimmune disorder that attacks the through (and the rest of the body). Since being diagnosed I've gone gluten free, eliminated"bad stuff," returned to goal weight, and gotten most of my labs back to a normal range. I've now been diagnosed with LADA, which means I will need to go on insulin soon for Type 1 diabetes. MFP has been my savior so far, but I could use some support and advice to keep on the healthy track.

I'm new and am unsure how to add you!

I see you're a Sun Devil living in Portland! I'm a (grieving) Duck, living in NC, with a daughter attending ASU! Small world.

Going GF has changed my life. The brain fog, memory problems, sluggishness and weight gain of Hashi's are minimized. I wish MFP would track gluten!
