If I weighed 212 lbs on November 1 then by May 3 I was 181.6 (So a loss of about 30 lbs) did it take me 6 or 7 months to lose the weight??

Ya, I'd been thinking 7 this whole time til I tried counting that way & I was like wait!0 -

Definitely 6. If that is May 3rd and not May 31st, then only 2 days "past" six months, so does NOT count as another month.
November to the end of April is only 6 months, not 7. Looking good! Keep up the good work!

Did I read it wrong maybe? I thought you said Nov. 1st as your start date. Here is how I figured:
30 days in Nov
31 days in Dec
31 days in Jan
28 days in Feb
31 days in Mar
30 days in Apr
31 days in May
Equals=212 days
212 days divided by 6 (months) = 35.33 days in a month
212 days divided by 7 (months) = 30.28 days in a month
I would still say 7.0 -
^^youre thinking way to hard0

Her end date isn't the end of May though, so the 31 days in May shouldn't be in the calculation.0 -
OOPS!! It IS 6!!! I apologize! I read May 1 as May 31!

It took 212 days from Nov 1-May 31. I would say 7 months since May 31 is closer to June 1 than May 1. Sorry..it's the accountant in me. :blushing:0

6 months and 2 or 3 days (depending on whether you count the last day): http://www.timeanddate.com/date/durationresult.html?m1=11&d1=01&y1=2010&m2=05&d2=03&y2=20110

I would agree, except its only the beginning of May, so the 31st isn't even a factor in this equation. So the answer is actually 6...0 -
