What do you consider "bad" food?
All food is equal and delicious, just need to try for moderation! Good luck.0 -
Fast food and very often (1-2 a day)0

wait.
fast food is bad?
perhaps it's the amount of fast food that is taking you over your calories?

Well welcome to the club. Not one person here gets excited about kale this, sugar free that! It's true, but like many have said here, it's about moderation. Let's cut down to once per day first. Make it a month and then cut to 6 days x week and so on. Also find an activity that you enjoy to melt some extra calories. If you enjoy it, it ain't exercise, right?0

Well I've cut it out completely as of today ..0

not to sound harsh, but did you actually read the threads i posted?
what i was hoping to get across to you, is that you DONT have to eliminate fast food, or anything you love from your diet. you just have to moderate it.
you like taco bell? i LOVE taco bell. it's my go to fast food.
a 6-pack of regular crunchy is like what....1200cals? if i want it, i build my day around it. get my macros in, and continue on with my life.
taking away the things i love has always been the key to my failure at losing weight. it wasnt until the wonderful people of MFP turned me onto IIFYM that i started really seeing success both physically AND mentally (which can sometimes be forgotten).
grab some tacos and read those threads. seriously, it may change the way you approach this.0 -

I agree. I LOVE the bell.

I agree above. Going from 1-2 a day to nothing is most likely going to end in failure. You should start by just alternating one healthier meal a week for the fast food, then increase after some time. I like the idea of entering in all my calories for the day (which I haven't actually started yet - still working on increasing my water intake and logging in exercises each day). That way if you want to go fast food, you can plan your other daily food around it so you won't go too overboard.0

Hey there. I have the same problem. I'm always running around so I tend to reach for fast food and junk food but I've spent a little bit of time getting in order and found that there's tons of delicious stuff I can prepare ahead of time to eat well (and keep myself full ) throughout the day.
I do agree with some of the people on here that moderation is key but honestly it's hard to moderate when a burger or even Taco Bell is upwards of 700 calories. Is that supposed to be the only thing you eat all day?
I'm working on eating tons of good food so that I always feel full for fewer calories and a greater nutrition benefit. Hope we can all help each other out here : ) I'm new too, check out my progress on my blog and share yours!
All the best!
