New to MFP (runner, cyclist, not much of a gym guy)

Hello all,
I'm new to tracking calories on MFP, but it is has been great so far. I downloaded the app a few years ago, but I was in good shape back then, a I didn't really need to track my calories so I deleted the app off my phone.
Recently I started working as a consultant, which means I travel all the time. Team dinners, caferteria food, and long hours lead to unhealthy meals. On my last project I ballooned around 30 or 40 lbs! (my normal weight is 145/150). I weighed in at 193 (@5'5) around Dec 10 at a doctors visit. I knew I was overweight and I had to make changes, quick!
I had to take drastic actions. I re-loaded the MFP on my phone and I started watching what I eat very closely. Today, I weight around 176/178. I want to shed another 20 lbs to fit in my normal clothes.
I got into very bad habits (like buying candy and eating too many carbie foods in the morning like bagels and soft pretzels). Today, I'm am very disciplined. All this will help me lose weight and get into better running shape.
