Migraine possibly diet or lifting related?

Hello!
I would like your guys advice. Starting this afternoon I got a headache as I often do. But today, by this evening, it morphed into a really bad migraine, which is rare for me. I am trying to figure out what caused it in order to prevent it occurring again. My diary is public.
I am 61 inches, 118lbs female, 24 years old. A week and a half ago I got back into doing some lifting, using the Toning for Teens book. I lift 4 times a week for 30 minutes.
This morning when lifting I already noticed that I was dizzy, which I know is not good.
Here are my thoughts. I only have a few pounds left to lose so I have been messing around with calorie intake. It has varied from 1300 to 1500. That may be the issue. I may have also been dehydrated today. Propel and tea did not get rid of the headache though.
What do you guys think? I would appreciate any ideas you might have.

how long have you been taking Women's Multi-Vitamin for? chocolate and caffeine can trigger migraine, also some folk can't have artificial sweeteners.
was it a true migraine or just a really headache?0 -
I think that it's important to see a Dr first to make sure there's no underlying problem.
I suffer from headaches and migraine and I find that various triggers together throw me over the threshold. For example, if I'm tired, dehydrated and I drink alcohol, it's usually migraine city. Have you ever kept a migraine/headache diary? It may help you figure out some of your triggers. You can get one here. http://diary.migrainetrust.org/0 -
Dehydration triggers migraines for me. Lifting can if I do something wrong and cause all the muscles in my traps to tighten up. If you're having true migraines I'd recommend seeing a neurologist.
If you can't or don't want to see a neuro then start keeping a migraine journal to keep track of potential triggers.0 -

The chocolate, in the protein bar, was eaten in an effort to get rid of the headache as it contained protein. Same with the caffeine. I do not tolerate much caffeine, so tea is about as far as I go. This was a true migraine, I did the pressure points. I was also very cautious. The headache was only alleviated after taking medication (which I do not like to do). I probably have not had a migraine for a few years.
Charlottesometimes23: Thank you for the website, I will take a look into it.
ILiftHeavyAcrylics: I am leaning towards dehydration. My shoulders are also very tight tonight, but I did those exercises yesterday, today was lower body.0 -
I'd put my money on dehydration as well. And, for what it's worth, it doesn't seem to help at all if I drink plenty of water after it starts. Once the train is rolling out of the station it's inevitable.0
