Not your average boiled broccoli.

I had some leftover chicken bouillion from a recipe, and experimented with two giant heads of broccoli last night.
Boil broccoli in:
8 ounces of water
1 packet of Herb-Ox sodium free chicken bouillion (or veggie/beef)
Adobo seasoning, black pepper, kosher salt (optional), and garlic powder to taste
I simmered my florets for about 7-8 minutes on low heat, and they really soaked up the flavors. I'm sure you can do this with other vegetables too with the same effect.
