I am a mom nursing a 9 month old. I have lost too much weight, trying to gain 10 lbs. Anyone know how to calculate the calories lost to breastfeeding accurately?

Your maintenance calories (2000?) plus breastfeeding calories (400?) = 2400? a day.
Sorry I can only guess. Need more information. Age,height,weight?0 -
I'm 34 years old, about 5'6" and right now weigh 115. I am most comfortable around 125.
I was estimating 400 calories a day for breast feeding, but am not sure if I can calculate that more clearly? Baby is 9 months and nurses 4-6 times per day and doesn't eat much in the way of solids.0 -

I'm also a nursing mom to a 10 month old. My weight fell off and I weigh 97 lbs. I eat 2500 cal a day and can't gain unless I hit 3000. I can't seem to do this though without eating crap! We are very healthy eaters and this is sooo hard!0
